In a late-night Truth Social post Saturday, the 47th U.S. president attacked former President Barack Obama and Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed accusing Obama of helping Iran pursue nuclear weapons and calling El-Sayed a “Muslim Brotherhood Jihadist” before urging Michigan voters to elect his preferred Republican Mike Rogers.

Trump lament came after remarks made earlier in Obama’s campaign appearances in Ohio and Michigan on Saturday, where the former president criticized Trump’s handling of the war with Iran, rising prices and the administration’s conduct.

“Obama was a grossly incompetent President! He paid off Iran with $billions, and gave them a road to a nuclear weapon,” Trump lamented reacting to the former president’s earlier remarks.

Further more he lashed out saying Obama had  previously campaigned for Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris,  which he Bragged both of whom lost their presidential races.

The president added that El-Sayed “hates Jews and Blacks and AMERICANS and TRUMP.” He also called him a “Fake Doctor” who runs what he considered the “WORST CLINIC IN AMERICA.”

Then, ended the post with an explicit endorsement: “VOTE FOR MIKE ROGERS!”

“Michigan Democrats know their base is crumbling with Conman Abdul as the face of their party – nothing proves this more than having to parachute Obama into Detroit from his Martha’s Vineyard mansion,” Mike Rogers campaign adviser Greg Manz said in a press release.

In a separate post, Trump called Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska “The Republicans’ Worst Senator, by far” and a “DISGRACE to Alaska and our Country.”

He characterized the ballot measure as a Democratic scheme to confuse voters and divert support from Sen. Dan Sullivan to political newcomer Daniel J. Sullivan, Jr.

According to him Democrats were trying to take the Republican Senate seat and suggested Murkowski was willing to let them succeed, faulting her for not asking the Justice Department to file a lawsuit to block what he called an impending crime. Trump called on Alaskans to reject ranked-choice voting by voting “YES” on Ballot Measure 2.

Obama had spent Saturday campaigning for Democrats ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections. In Cleveland, where he appeared alongside Democratic Senate candidate Sherrod Brown and gubernatorial nominee Amy Acton, criticized the Trump administration and urging voters to use Nov. 3 midterms to vote and push back against Trump’s policies.

“After two years of chaos and cruelty and corruption and incompetence, the likes of which we have not seen in the modern era, you get a chance to say, ‘enough is enough,’” Obama told the crowd.

He framed the Nov. 3 midterms as what he called a chance for voters to curb Trump’s agenda and hold his administration in check, calling them the “last best chance to at least rein in some of the foolishness of this administration.”

“Ohioans haven’t forgotten her decisions that closed schools and suffocated businesses, or how she quit on Ohio and left hardworking families to clean up her mess.” Amy Natoce, spokesperson for Republican Sen. Jon Husted said in statement.

Iran is what the former and present United States presidents centered their point of disagreement on.

Obama defended the nuclear agreement negotiated during his presidency, arguing that diplomacy had kept Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon without military action.

“I didn’t have to fire a missile to do it,” he said, criticizing Trump’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear agreement, further arguing that  the current war had given Tehran “veto power” over the Strait of Hormuz, which is now contributing to higher fuel prices the world is facing.

Asked about the war earlier Saturday, Trump defended his approach.

“I’ve done it very effectively and I may have to finish it off, or maybe they’ll make a deal, but I’m not sure. Either way, we win,” Trump said.

Obama also blamed Trump’s tariffs for contributing to higher prices, saying, “In fact, tariffs helped contribute to rising prices.”

Furthermore, to balance the rally to more interesting spot, the former president mocked Trump’s White House renovations with another pointed criticism:

“What’s with all the gold? He’s got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened up a Cheesecake Factory. “

Amy Natoce — spokesperson for Republican Sen. Jon Husted campaign reacted to Obama joining campaign saying:

“The sight of Sherrod Brown and Barack Obama together again should send shivers down Ohioans’ spines.”

“The Brown-Obama duo gave us higher taxes, less jobs and wide-open borders. Ohioans are ready to retire Sherrod Brown once and for all by electing Jon Husted on Nov. 3.” she added.

In Detroit, Obama campaigned alongside El-Sayed and Democratic gubernatorial nominee Jocelyn Benson on the first day of in-person early voting. He defended El-Sayed against attacks on his name and Muslim faith, drawing a comparison with false claims about Obama’s own identity during his political career.

El-Sayed who is a former Detroit and Wayne County health official is running against Rogers for the Senate seat being vacated by retiring Democrat Gary Peters.

Saturday’s Cleveland appearance had also included a criticism of Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy over a campaign ad featuring the estranged mother of his Democratic opponent, Amy Acton, a physician and former director of the Ohio Department of Health who is the Democratic candidate for governor in the Nov. 3 election.

The ad featured Donna Arthur calling her daughter a liar.

“In recent days, we’ve seen there is no line he will not cross, no low he will not sink to try to get in the limelight,” Obama said.

Republican Gov. Mike DeWine criticized the advertisement on Oct. 22, calling it “just wrong” and “deeply, deeply troubling” and urging the campaign to be removed , while maintaining his endorsement of the Republican ticket.

Former Republican Gov. John Kasich also criticized the ad, saying it “should never have been put together” and such actions and acts “have no place in American politics.”

Trump’s description of El-Sayed as a “Fake Doctor” refers to a separate dispute over his medical credentials. El-Sayed holds a medical degree from Columbia University and a doctorate in public health from Oxford, but did not complete a medical residency and has never held a medical license. His career has been in public health leadership rather than licensed clinical practice.

His argument about Abdul El-Sayed as a “Muslim Brotherhood Jihadist” reportedly stems from social media posts from 2012 and 2013 by El-Sayed’s maternal half-sister where she described their family as having longstanding ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and referenced to their mother’s activism in Egypt in the 1970s. El-Sayed has long denied personal ties to the group.
